One down. One to go?

Well, I have some news. It's not fantastic, wonderful news. I have another fibroid. It is much smaller this time, though. That is something! Instead of 15 cm like last time, it is only 2 inches this time.

I had an IUD put in last week. That is supposed to stop it from getting any larger. Hopefully, it also stops the pain that comes with these annoying blood-suckers. :) I'm a little anxious about having it in and having to always have something in my body to stop these things from coming back, but I am trying to just let the doctor do his job and trust that whatever happens with me is God's plan for me. Faith is an action. I know this for sure! I'm fine, though.

I feel okay. I don't really notice any major problems with anything so far. So, I'm crossing my fingers that it all works out well! :)

First Post by Erica

I guess it's about time for me to post something on our family blog. I haven't really had a lot to share, but I have had a great summer. I spent a week in DC with Milla (SO FUN!!!).

I also just had my 29th birthday. It was quite a day. I spent it with my family, so it was a GREAT day. We went to cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs. I thought it was really cute. I really liked it. Later, the girls went to dinner at The Noodle Company (yum!) while the boys went to Priesthood meeting.

On Sunday afternoon we had dinner with Grandma and Grandpa Okey, Grandma Winger, Jo, Clint, Anna, Kaycie, Milla, Taylor, Mom and Dad and Me. We opened presents. I got the BEST gifts. I got an iTunes card from Taylor and Milla. I got a magazine subscription to Cicada from Jo, and from Mom and Dad I got a new purse, some books about pumpkins, some dirt and in a little while, a GIANT pumpkin seed to plant!! I AM SO EXCITED TO GROW A GIANT PUMPKIN!!! It was a really great birthday. :)

Well, that's all the news for now from Erica. Blogging to you from Roy, UT. Write you again soon!

4 stomps, 3 class changes, late nights...

What more could I say about my year so far? I have been having the time of my life down here in Ephraim. It's been hard to get back into the responsible student mode though. I've made some really good friends too, and it's only been one week! My roommates are at the top of that list. We have our fights..just silly girl stuff, to say the least, we get along like sisters. We have way too much fun and laugh like no other. My ward is awesome (mostly because there are some REALLY cute RM's :)) and my classes aren't too bad either. I ended up dropping my French class, but I'm kind of regretting it, because I have a lot of extra time on my hands. I think I could have hacked it. Leadership is going well too. I've been promoting service scholar these first few weeks and have had a lot of good responses. There so much going on here, but I can't imagine what's going on with all of you! I can't believe Tay's in highschool! What a stud. I miss you all, and love you lots!

The Beginning

One of my goals for this summer was to start a blog where we could share what is happening with each other. This is the first entry into the blog. I hope everyone will share and enjoy the messages that are here.
